Success Week: DiLeonardo Designs

Over the past forty years through all of the economic changes and circumstances, and the company is still operating and achieving many significant accomplishments, I think it is safe to say this is a successful business. When I finally found out what my passion was, I immediately was drawn to DiLeonardo Design firm because of its success.

When doing my research online and looking at their philosophy and accomplishments on their website, I learned about their creative set up. Robert DiLeonardo is the founder and chairman of this architectural interior design firm which is a family-owned hospitality design company with award-winning designs. He is known as a leader in the hospitality design due to his enthusiasm about design, not just his success. He shows his excitement for the future and blending this with the past in his designs which is one reason why his work is so great. He understands that sustainability is becoming a requirement and not an option and wants to help the environment. I learned that in the office that there is no bureaucracy or departments which promotes teams to collaborate freely to create innovative work. DiLeonardo himself tells those who are pursuing a career in interior design is to seek internships to learn what you like best. Then once you have graduated listen to those who have so much experience because that experience is priceless and you can learn from it. Ultimately showing that the DiLeonardo Designs have been able to create success by adapting to technological changes to create a booming business that promotes creative thinking to make lavish designs.
